This policy explains what information Sports Card Manual (“we”, “us”) collects when you use sportscardmanual.com, how it’s used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email contact@sportscardmanual.com.

Information we collect

You don’t need an account to use this site, and we don’t ask for your name or other personal details. We collect:

• Usage data through Google Analytics 4: the pages you visit, how you interact with them (for example, reaching the end of a chapter), your browser and device type, approximate location (city/country level), and the site that referred you. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to tell visits apart. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
• Card Search requests: when you search a checklist, your browser requests that checklist from our service. We don’t store your searches against you.
• Technical data: our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Emails you send us: if you email us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply and to improve the site. Our email is handled by Google (Gmail), Cloudflare Email Routing and Brevo, which process messages on our behalf.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics (Google Analytics cookies such as _ga) and, where ads are shown, for advertising (see below). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Advertising

We use, or may use, Google AdSense to show ads on this site.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Embedded videos

Some chapters include our YouTube videos. Until you press play, only a preview image is loaded from YouTube. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google’s privacy policy applies to it.

We don’t sell your personal information.

Children

This site is a general-audience guide and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes, for example when we add new features or advertising. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
